The Cargolifter hanger in Brand, Germany was designed to house the production and stowage of a new breed of super freight zepellins. The hangar measures 100m heigh, 200m wide by 400m long and is one of the worlds largest single span enclosures.
Tristan Simmonds designed the main longspan steel superstructure and double skin membrane roof.
